Klavan can't defend
milner cant defend
Failed:laugh:.
Liverpool have had players in camp for two weeks to really work on things. Milner, lovren, matip, henderson
  • Liverpool have mane who is brilliant
  • Liverpool are playing at home
This is a BIG game. LFc always play well in big games
Passed<applause>.

Tobes, you don't need to play through our press. Sit deep and stay compact and launch the ball down our left side and you'll be in.

Better teams have tried to play through our press and failed.

TBH this is a game that we will win. Yes, we are worried about their form and what Lukaku can do <whistle>. But the reality is that this is a BIG game, a derby against Everton at home and this is a game that we win despite some anxiety. I simply cannot see Koeman outfoxing Klopp.

Bold statement and hopefully a massive [HASHTAG]#jinx[/HASHTAG]

If it turns out to be wrong I won't dredge it back up though mate <ok>

Everton fans react on Twitter after reported shattering blow ahead of Liverpool derby
By Will Butcher
Everton fans are bemoaning their luck on Twitter after Ramiro Funes Mori was carried off on a stretcher while on international duty with Argentina.
The Liverpool Echo report that the 26-year-old is now a huge doubt for Saturday’s Merseyside derby, after being withdrawn in the 37th minute with what appeared to be a knee injury.

Although Funes Mori was unlikely to start with Ashley Williams and Phil Jagielka featuring from the off in the Toffees’ last encounter against Hull, the injury will leave Koeman with little to choose from at the back ahead of Saturday’s clash.
Everton fans are distraught on Twitter after hearing of Funes Mori’s latest injury, with most complaining that this month’s international break is a waste of time.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

World current qualifiers what a joke! Now Funes Mori strechered off! Ffs!! #efc #coyb

I'm devastated thats one sure fire red card gone now.

We've only lost 1 league game in the 12 since the last derby (3-2 away at Spuds)

The loss of Coleman is a huge blow, and we've now lost Funes Mori who was stretchered off for Argentina last night <doh>

Lallana makes you tick and so his loss is huge imo, but it's Mane I see as being your key man, plus Coutinho carries a goal threat if allowed space around the box.

The key for us is having the composure to play through your high press, and not simply hitting the channels, we need to mix it up and use both methods of getting at your back line.

With Mori out, we'll be vulnerable in the air, so set pieces could be our undoing here.

I think Koeman could well opt for a back 3 given the injuries, with the possibility of young Kenny getting his chance at RWB.

Overall if Schneiderlin is fit then I think we've got a decent chance, if it's Barry in that role, I think we'll end up getting rolled over.

You'd be vulnerable in the air if we were any good in the air....or set pieces for that matter. That's the least of your concerns against us imo. Against others it's obviously much different.

Going to the match, first one this season! Can't wait!!

@Tobes you going?
No mate, It's not a fixture I regularly attend tbh.

I can never get a ticket in the away end as you need to have attended virtually every away all season to get a sniff.

So when I've been, I've sat with the home fans and it's never been a particularly nice experience tbh.

Enjoy it though, you can't beat the atmosphere at a derby, the Goodison one before Christmas was great - until the 94th ****ing minute <grr>
