He's the kind of caliber of player I hope we're targeting at least. Young, up and coming, slight gamble. Not really interested in us going for some cheap "reliable" British player. We need someone exciting to push us even further.

They won't negotiate, look at the amount of quality clubs in for him. 10m euros works out at £8m so we'd still have four left over from Long, decent business.He scored last week against Monaco from a penalty after winning it himself
 
We should see more tomorrow but the one thing i shall finish on is that there's no mention of Him and us in the same sentence in any french media. So it's obviously come from our side of the channel at this moment in time.
 
We should just ask athletico Madrid if they have their eye on any young strikers they're not too sure about. We could offer to take them and try them out for awhile with a release clause to them only for a bit of profit.

Torres was with AM from a very young age. Falcao cost them €40 to €50 million so I think he must have been on a lot of club radars.

Just looked at Falcao's goal record.

41 in 51 for Porto
52 in 68 for Madrid
10 in 18 for Monaco

That's some strike rate. I think we may finally have found a striker that will be of sufficient standard for TigerRoo.

Clearly he's getting worse with every move. No a doubt a move to us would see him drop below a rate of 1 every 2 games. Stay away!

Actually, you have a point.

TigerRoo says we need two strikers who will score 20 goals a season, and that trend you've noticed means Falcao probably wouldn't reach 20.

Two strikers who got ten each would do with others chipping in.
 
We could end up selling this lad for 20 mill plus in a few seasons, aslong as there isnt any crazy sell-on clauses
