I know you're new, so I'll save you the flogging, but we generally put any transfer related stuff in the sticky transfers thread at the top of the page. Otherwise the board just gets cluttered up with threads. And you'll start getting sarcy comments from more experienced users.
You seem to know a lot of French related stuff (guessing by your name you live out there?), would he be a good fit for us? I have limited knowledge of the Ligue 1, but I've seen him play for Lorient and he looked their best player by a country mile. Good penalty taker.
I think it deserves it's own thread tbh. Like with the Welbeck thread, it's a possible club record and is being reported by quite a few sources.

Woah, I thought he was a Robertson-type signing. That's a lot of money.
All I know is he is amazing on Fifa 14.

I've scoured french media.
Yesterday they said Sporting Lisbon were after him. and the owner (who lives in London) has set the price at 10million euros .
Rumours that Benfica and Monaco are or have been interested.
I'm pretty sure that if he's good enough for them he should be for us no?

He does seem to be a similar style replacement to Long in the pace and work ethic, maybe a bit more prolific too. However I did see on twitter someone say he's poor at holding the ball up

Yeh, hopefully we can look at him for around £6 million, would be a bargain.
My only concern is him having one good season and them trying to cash in.
He's the kind of caliber of player I hope we're targeting at least. Young, up and coming, slight gamble. Not really interested in us going for some cheap "reliable" British player. We need someone exciting to push us even further.
