Just worked it out. if it's done by appearance as the 1 in 8 stat is. than exactly 9922 minutes where he hasn't even been on pitch is being used against him for not scoring. that's 110 games worth of minutes that has been used against him when he hasn't even been on the pitch. I'll rest with that.

Well I am pleased to welcome the lad on board, so far Pienaar has looked passable and actually brings a touch of class to the team, I think Vic will surprise us and do a Halom, why not, be great if he gets a couple against the Toffees. stranger things have happened at sea.

TBF to Moyes, i'm pretty well pleased with all his signings so far considering he was more or less chucked in at the deep-end after BSA ran off. The Anichebe one was obviously a desperation signing so we'll wait and see and I'll judge Moyes after the January window.

Right on, I'm no happy clappy, but we have to keep positive, under trying circumstances. If we can get to Xmas with no further traumas and Moyes begins to build in the next window, he will have done well imo. <ok>

I know they're long term, but get Manonne and Borini back and we have the makings of a decent squad mate, couple that with some new blood in January and who knows? we could achieve mid table mediocrity. And i reckon we'd all take that this season?

The flip side is, lose Defoe and Pickford and we could be staring relegation down the throat come January.
