Yoshida didn't have a bad game. Fonts and boruc were far too casual in possession around our box. Fonts tried his hardest to give the ball away in dangerous areas and should have gave away a pen. If boruc had put his boot through the goal kick then yoshida would not have been pressured for there second goal.
If forren is fit our starting line could easily be yoshida and forren imo.

Yeah I think Yoshida gets a bad rap, although obviously he did make a mistake for their second goal. He's been our most consistent centre-half this season though for me. Not that that's saying much admittedly!
Forren's absence even from the bench is utterly baffling. It's another example of a peculiar signing: Lee, Mayuka, now Forren. All high-profile signings who have not really been given a chance. Between Mayuka and Forren we've spent £7m-odd. I really struggle to understand why they are not given a sniff of first-team action when we have the likes of Fox and even De Ridder before his loan away regularly getting onto the pitch.
For the last time, there was no contact!
Lesson in sticking with your gut instincts. When QPR scored their second goal yesterday, I instantly blamed Yoshida without a moment's hesitation. Those around me then spent the next hour convincing me it was actually either Shaw's fault or, going back slightly earlier, Boruc's fault (for trying to play out from the back, when QPR have players close). And they actually did a job in convincing me.
But seeing the highlights back, I went back to my initial thought straight away. At one point, Yoshida has a couple of yards on Park. No way should, five seconds later, Park be completely free, ball at feet, and in a position to cross it.
Forren was a desperation buy...not given up on him, but I trust the manager on this one.
