Call it a fact or a stat if it makes you feel better.
No mate i meant a fact about decisions..
Before var moaned , with var moaned
Only difference .. fair
Call it a fact or a stat if it makes you feel better.
Theyre moaning at things that dont go their way...

I disagree. As a saints fan, we have had more go our way than against, but its still destroying my enjoyment. I want to see players reeling away in celebration when they score. Now they look subdued. And then the really tight offside that goes your way, and its celebrated like a goal. What a massive cringe that is. VAR will turn people away from a sport they have long loved. Its just a matter of time.
I understood it - I just didn’t see what relevance it had to football matches. You clearly have not understood my explanation on emotional decision making ..
Its a fact
Nothings changed it just more fair.
Yeah **** the game, as long as the decisions are correct it doesn't matter if the game is worse. Allegedly brought in because bad decisions were spoiling peoples enjoyment. Corrects a few decisions but still completely arbitrary what is reviewed, and game enjoyment being spoiled more than previously.
Not really achieved its goal has it![]()
Our interpretations of fair are clearly different. Its not fair to be sat in a stadium for five minutes waiting for some guy on a monitor to have a guess about a 1mm off side, or the slightest handball brush. Its a crock of ****. I actually think they've brought it in so they can do adverts in the var breaks. Watch this space.

That is just people being pissy to try to back up their standpoint. Reality is whether you are on the good side or bad side of decisions is irrelevant. Its a sport, its meant to be entertaining. People are not finding that VAR has helped the entertainment and are therefore sick of it. Its completely ruining the game.
Did you just make a golf comparison?
I'm now starting to think Roy just wants to be controversial with his views.
Thanks for the debate. Fair well.
People cannot argue its not fair anymore, so theyre arguing its no fun anymore..

You do realise its still down to human interpretation. Not everything with var is a thin red line.
over the last 4 seasons alone we have been shafted on a great number of incorrect decisionsOh theres never been offside goals, no contact sending off and pens ruining my week! People really do forget.
over the last 4 seasons alone we have been shafted on a great number of incorrect decisions
far more than any awarded to us, I know because I always moaned about the standard of refereeing each week
often pointing out that the Laws of the Game are the same for any team what ever division they are in
I was often criticised for blaming the ref and his decision making despite my past refereeing background and having a brother that refs in the football Leauge
I like your style, even if it's not totally accurateLast season we would have been in the top 4 if we had var

I like your style, even if it's not totally accurate![]()
best of luck with that oneNow that I've won this debate I think i'll press on in the other thread arguing that the sky isnt blue.
best of luck with that one
Totally incorrect ..if I see a film the outcome is the same for all watching , but the result matters in football.
Its a sport ... it has to be fair
Are they just going to start saying ... get in the hole tiger and award burdies in golf because he didnt miss by much and to keep his fans and prostitutes all happy?
Stupid comparison. Its about enjoyment. There is no sport if there are no fans because you are turning them off with stupid rules. The fairness has not massively improved. If you were being hand on heart honest, have at any stage this season have you uttered the words "where is VAR now?" I bet a high percentage of watchers have. Why? Because they've seen something VAR'd in one game but then not the next. its happening every single week. We've just replaced one inconsistency with another is all. One which is spoiling the game as a spectacle. Its utter ****.
Also its "Birdies"
