Our near neighbours were quick to judge Bony. But that was probably based (at least partly) on them gleefuly thinking we'd bought a dud. Swamp and Sparkey were at the forefront I seem to recall, with the latter saying he'd rather have Much in his team any day. They weren't alone to be fair with some Swans fans joining in.
But if you watched the Swans you could see the talent; his assists were noticeable, and he was always going to come good. The Eredivisie isn't a bad league at all and his scoring rate was excellent. At the moment it looks like we were right, but let's hope his improvment continues. But I also agree with Taff. It's a little early to make an assessment on the best value for money.
