I get that voters have to choose between one of the two, but it's insane how hysterical some get. It will be largely the same **** whoever is in charge. No idea why some get so wedded to a political party, like a football team that they are born to support....

Yanks are seriously the most cringe people in the world when it comes to politics.

Bowing down and hollering to their candidates as if they’re looking at the new messiah.

More-so than ever in this election. Trump is whipping them up into a frenzy.

I thought I had it sussed back in February. Figuring no way would Biden last the distance I bet on the only person at the time capable of beating Trump, someone he feared, Michelle Obama. A short time after that she dropped out, I took a hit on that. I might be taking another after looking at the latest odds with having several bets on Harris from 5/1 down to 2/1. If people are undecided on policy how can anyone choose Trump on personality?

I think Trump will win. I also think if he does, then Vance is a shoo-in for the Presidency in 2028. Whether you agree with or despise his politics, Vance is young, intelligent, articulate, a military veteran and from a humble working-class Midwestern background. He’s the ideal candidate for the right-wing populist vote which is the direction the Republican Party seems to be going.

I don’t even think Trump wanted to run again. He looks knackered and worse for wear. I think the main reason he’s running again is because there’s a good chance he’ll go to federal prison if he doesn’t win and winning will allow JD Vance to be groomed for the Presidency.

For something that's supposed to be balanced on a knife edge,I too am puzzled by the 4/7 Trump,6/4 Harris available on bet 365 this morning?

The bookies very seldom get this type of thing wrong but anyway, gambling is my only interest in U.S politics.

Some say they wouldn't trust Trump to run their bath, fair enough,I wouldn't have much faith in Kamala Harris putting the plug in to start off the process...

Politics is full of self serving ***** who seek to line their own pockets, not mine....that concludes my input.

I think Trump will win......
Good post. I'm not a fan of the Donald, but I think your right...When people are asked by pollsters rocking up on their porch how many will admit to voting for Trump? Like here. How many will admit voting for Reform UK or the Tories?
I reckon Trump will win by a small margin, especially if he takes the larger rust belt states like Penn, Michigan and Illinois. Listen to Yanks are they all pissed off by illegal immigration, cost of living (inflation). Just like here and we voted the Tories out....Same in the States. Democrats are not that popular on the big issues.

I've found Vivek Ramaswamy is usually worth a watch in debates and discussions.

Trump's price tumbled when some yank had a mega bet on him. Take no notice of what these polls are saying it's definitely too close to call. Like 2016, it seems people are voting to stop the other person getting in, not because they agree with their policies.

Trump is incredibly scary with ideas that are unbelievably dangerous – but also a clown. The really scary **** will happen when someone has the same horrid, fascist ideas and somehow manages to convince people they are sane and well-balanced. That person is JD Vance. He’s been building towards a push for presidency for years and a lot of insiders think that if Trump wins Vance intends to stab him in the back and take it for himself.

Agree with your second point.

I think Harris will take it.

Maybe, it's just another nudge to get people to vote in a particular way. If there are good odds to be had you would be foolish to vote the other way if you see what I mean.

I don’t think it will take him stabbing Trump in the back. I’m convinced the only reason Trump is running again is to give himself immunity from prosecution, like Caesar did when he crossed the Rubicon. I think he actually hated being President and found it too tedious and stressful. Trump’s in survival mode and feels penned into a corner. If he wins, I imagine he’ll delegate a lot to Vance and even step down at some point. I don’t think he’ll be pressured to step down like the Democrats did to Biden once they accepted he wasn’t a full shilling.

Trump lacks political finesse. He just says whatever thought comes into his head regardless of consequence. Vance is more calculating and reserved, which I guess does make him more cunning and potentially more dangerous.

Roe v wade has already been repealed off the back of Trump putting in ultra conservative supreme court justices.
