It isn't about capability. As I said earlier, the point was that Biden is the start, and the Dems are looking at Harris as their future leader when Biden retires/passes, and will likely be the one who goes for the presidency in 2024. (let's be honest, he could very well die in office). Just going straight in with Harris, who is relatively unknown in comparison to Biden, would've likely ended with a Trump win purely based on the lack of knowledge of her.

Why they went with Clinton and Biden, when they could have had Sanders, is beyond me.

He was seen as too far to the left.

Which, in America, instantly makes you a full-on Communist.

    McCarthy-ism never really went away.

She ticks the right boxes, no idea on her policies though.

Looks like it could all hinge on the six votes in Nevada.

Biden is 77. Young when you compare Popes. They've got to be 80+ to get on the ticket.

Universal healthcare, less pollution, push for racial equality and stronger inquiries into systemic racism, higher taxes for corporations and rich people. Not sure about her foreign policy, but I imagine it's a hell of a lot better than the current "everything for America, sod everybody else.".

Thanks Quill, so it's like Succession, hope Harris gets the job of doing our trade deal as I'm getting the vibe Biden is negative towards it.

The funny thing about that vid I just posted from twitter - if those Trumpites were successful in stopping the count... Biden would win the state.

    Absolute imbeciles.

I guess we can kick our trade deal into the long grass if Biden gets in. Already touting his Irish heritage. We're ducked in that one. At least Trumps mother was Scottish.

It looks like the Republicans are keeping control of the Senate.

It's an odd system, that means if Harris, whoops sorry, Biden wins debating time is sucked up rejecting the Presidents wishes.

It's better than Trump being in charge and getting everything he wants through the senate.

Oooh, ooh, an excuse for a joke.

What do pizza delivery people, and gynecologists have in common?

The both get to smell the box, but neither of them get to eat it.
