Capability is different to electabilitySo if she's more capable why didn't they let her run and it would probably be over by now, at least there's a puppet master behind Biden then.

Alex Scott? They needed the wise, eloquent and charismatic figure head.

Why they went with Clinton and Biden, when they could have had Sanders, is beyond me.
He was seen as too far to the left.
I think the better question would be, how is Harris on those issues.

Absolute ****s. Exactly what Trump wanted.
She ticks the right boxes, no idea on her policies though.
Thanks Quill, so it's like Succession, hope Harris gets the job of doing our trade deal as I'm getting the vibe Biden is negative towards it.It isn't about capability. As I said earlier, the point was that Biden is the start, and the Dems are looking at Harris as their future leader when Biden retires/passes, and will likely be the one who goes for the presidency in 2024. (let's be honest, he could very well die in office). Just going straight in with Harris, who is relatively unknown in comparison to Biden, would've likely ended with a Trump win purely based on the lack of knowledge of her.
. (Removed my comment myself to save the Mods a job!)I guess we can kick our trade deal into the long grass if Biden gets in. Already touting his Irish heritage. We're ducked in that one.At least Trumps mother was Scottish.
It looks like the Republicans are keeping control of the Senate.
It's an odd system, that means if Harris, whoops sorry, Biden wins debating time is sucked up rejecting the Presidents wishes.
Pizzas?
