Am I the only one who thought, at first, he said 'Joseph, Robin Hood, Biden' during the swearing in?

The first time I have watched any of these events I was always at work or way bak when at school
If even half of what Biden said is true then it is a good day for America and by default the rest of the world
There were times when I was half expecting a snipers bullet or a rocket attack but it all seems to have calmed down
The best thing Trump can do is keep a very low profile and pray that no Federal charges are brought against him, if the German Central Bank rumour is true he is probably bankrupt now anyway

I always remember visiting Washigton DC in Oct/Nov time, and the biting wind, I didn't envy the few that were sitting around outside the Capitol today, that would have been bloody freezing. Very strange seeing it all lockdown though, security never seemed a high priority of buildings in the past, as we learned from 9/11 America never expected to be attacked on their home ground. However, the new fear these days is domestic terrorists. Quite sad having to see all the high fencing up. But we forget, Thatcher did the same with Downing St after the IRA attack, and the fencing has never been removed since.

I’m not sure Trump will continue in politics, the dream of being a dictator (I’m convinced he’d have tried to change the 2 terms max rule if he got re-elected) with his offspring continuing the legacy is gone.
He’s looking at multiple lawsuits, federal, state and civil, which will likely keep his name in the mud for years, not to mention the potential impeachment conviction that will end any idea of holding office again anyway.
So what’s the point in him owning a media channel? Unless there’s a massive grift attached I don’t see it personally.

No imo mate. 70m Republicans voted for him, of which only a percentage were Trumpers, and he still got walloped by 7m votes. Given his parting shot I doubt rank and file Republicans would welcome him back with open arms in the future. Even the Republican head of the Senate has dumped him, his offspring are charisma free **** ups and his ‘brand’ is trashed.
