Does this mean Bannon can be sued now by anybody who paid into his fund, as a pardon is ipso facto an admission of guilt?

Lots of Trumpers and Qanon nut jobs believing a fake tweet from vice joint chief of staff that Trump will call for Martial law today and use military force to take back his 'stolen' election. These people are literally Cultists. It's like the Waco mob or the end of the world Doomsayers who tell everybody that a comet will come and wipe out all life on a particular date. That date comes and goes and then they conveniently move on to the next conspiracy.

Now all fuelled by Parler and Telegram. Absolutely nuts.

I know that Biden is another establishment man, but that’s probably just what the US needs right now. Some stability and familiarity.

It really is a good day for the world today seeing the arse end of Trump leaving office.

Hearing a POTUS speak like an actual POTUS was weird tbh, after the last 4 years I’d forgotten that Statesmanship and the US Presidency went together.

Good luck to him, as he’s got a right job on, but thank **** the Trump era has ended.

Yeah massive job ahead of him. And I liked his speech about brining unity to a divided nation, and his recognition that facts need to be cherished and falsehoods rooted out.

Tough job and there will be plenty trying to undermine him. But I was reminded today at how much of the **** storm that Trump created can be undone by the office of President.

Switched on CNN just in time to see Garth Brooks singing Amazing Grace. No one does cheese and corn quite like the Yanks.

Nice to have you back, 'Merca.
Brooks taking a risk, there. Lots of conservative country music fans. He's rich enough not to give a **** though, I guess.

Yeah, I don't think he'll care.

When it comes to country "legends", I'm more of a Johnny Cash and Willy Nelson kinda guy, but Garth has always been true to himself - like his hero Freddie Mercury. Can't criticise the guy really.

Performance of the night. Fair play to them for taking a punt on such a divisive figure but it’s paid off. Not a dry eye in the house.
