That is all you need, I'm not sure what you find difficult to understand about that, as I have previously said, you only need one lone wolf. The higher the percentage the personnel, the greater the risk of finding that 0.001% that is prepared to pull the trigger.

The FBI seem to think that threat you mock as very real, having just removed two national guards.

Anyway, we are moving away from the convo where you tried to previously suggest, quote...

'Not sure why a soldier woudl be pro trump. He hardly covered himself in glory with his actions and comments on those who have served and those who currently. serve. He also managed to bring home fewer service men and women from what I see as Obama did..'

Hence I directed you towards the name Ashli Babbitt

As I said, I don't see the point of an inaugaration (going ahead) which requires 25,000 troops (the latest figure I've seen) to protect it. Madness.

My view is based on what he said, I never said there wouldn’t be people who support him who serve or maniacs. Clearly the FBI and secret services know what to look for.

25,000 this time, unsure how many were used for trump

You alluded to the point that soldiers wouldn't be pro Trump when you said, 'Not sure why a soldier woudl be pro trump.' as though to dismiss my suggestion that they would be, or a certain percentage of soldiers would be.

Anyway, why you suddenly become attracted to me. Probably to do with the covid chat the other night, when we were talking about the covid vaccine and you cleared off, after @PINKIE mistook me for having a go at @Libby. At the time you were doing what you always do, turned the subject about YOU. You're one of these me, me guys, another HiaG. I can see why you have announced your affection towards him.

have a nice evening.

“The last time the Senate convened, we had just reclaimed the Capitol from violent criminals,”
"The mob was fed lies, they were provoked by the president and other powerful people...But we pressed on."
"We stood together and said an angry mob would not get veto power over the rule of law in our nation, not even for one night."
That's from Mitch McConnell. Interesting...

Mate, Fox had an anchor on today saying that several sources have reported that Trump supporters plan to dress up as National Guard to infiltrate the Inauguration security and assassinate Biden -'Just as the proven Antifa supporters dressed up as MAGA followers and infiltrated the peaceful protest at The Capitol on the 6th of January'.... with a straight ****ing face. :emoticon-0145-shake

I largely agree about them not being able to weed out any Trump supporters in that 25,000, but they don't really need to.
They've probably handpicked them most important ones and I know that they replaced the Secret Service people recently.
There could be a lone lunatic in there somewhere, but they just need to keep him at a respectable distance.
As long as he doesn't get a clear shot at Biden or anyone else important, then he probably won't even do anything.
You'd hope that they've got enough expertise in there to prevent anything explosive getting rigged up.

As for Ashli Babbitt, she would've been flagged instantly if they'd have done any checks in the last couple of years.
She appears to have jumped on the Q/Trump train after leaving the air force, as her social media posts weren't as mental when she was in it.
The last six months or so were particularly bad, apparently.

The problem is that there'll be fruitcakes out there that either don't post on social media or are sensible enough to do it anonymously.
Will one get into a position to do anything? We're about to find out! <laugh>

Practically all of the people involved in the Watergate burglary, the alleged Kennedy assassination cover up, the Bay of Pigs fiasco and the Contras/Arms for Iran episodes were ex-military; either acting for government agencies or sub-contracted to party associates. Ex military like Bobbitt (and Oswald) should certainly be worried about, but it's the ones who don't shout the odds on social media and political rallies that really scare me.

I'm just not getting it all. They've got 20,000 armed guards, just so the inauguration can go ahead, it's madness. Just call it off and tell Biden to get to work in the White House. It's no longer a public event, other than by TV.

I've seen the FBI supposedly vetting every soldier - yeah right, you only need one looney tune with a gun, there is no way you can vett that lot out of 20k of soldiers, it's just asking for trouble. The more people with guns, the higher the risk I would have thought.

I'm expecting America to give us a televised wild west show, so no complaints from me, I expect @Commachio has already booked time off for it, with him having ride of the valkyries on in the background.

Donald Trump has said he will "pray for the success" of Joe Biden's administration - but added the political movement he created "is only just beginning".

Before he leaves office on Wednesday, the outgoing president said in his farewell address that everyone in the US had been "horrified" by the rioting at the Capitol in Washington DC earlier this month.

He said: "Political violence is an attack on everything we cherish as Americans. It can never be tolerated."

I think it's the biggest flaw with the domestic terrorist today in America, they love social media too much. Which I agree is very helpful to the security forces. I couldn't ever imagine the IRA acting like that. <laugh>

Social media has created a bit of a monster. But they created it out in the open, for everyone to see. Monsters are most dangerous when they operate in the shadows.

The real danger for America will come when an intelligent and sophisticated version of Trump makes a bid to become Lord of MAGA World. Someone like Ted Cruz or Josh Hawley

Lots of Trumpers and Qanon nut jobs believing a fake tweet from vice joint chief of staff that Trump will call for Martial law today and use military force to take back his 'stolen' election. These people are literally Cultists. It's like the Waco mob or the end of the world Doomsayers who tell everybody that a comet will come and wipe out all life on a particular date. That date comes and goes and then they conveniently move on to the next conspiracy.

Now all fuelled by Parler and Telegram. Absolutely nuts.
