Trump has massive form for not paying people he’s contracted. Hence the reason he’s one of the most litigious men in the US. Don’t pay, get sued, counter claim for some spurious and fake contractual failure, lose and appeal, win and cheat someone, or reach a settlement and massively reduce what you’d originally committed to pay.
