Nobody wants over regulation, and like I said, you have quite clear guidelines on inciting violence, racial abuse, hate speech etc. So there is a framework in place.
You're never going to be able to regulate perfectly, but as you mention, clear attempts at misinformation or deliberate disinformation need to be better managed and whoever is regulating, needs to be able to draw a line in the sand and say, this is unacceptable.

Kudos to the BBC for having a dedicated misinformation and fact checking service, some may argue it's not perfect. But it's certainly better than just allowing it to circulate unchecked.

I like your middle ground thinking where they have to agree. See I'm easily pleased. I hate all this left v right stuff, does my nut in.

The funny thing is there are things on the right and left I tend to agree with on a few contentious issues, but I like to think my views are not extreme. So when someone far right or far left comes along then it puts me right off and I'll end up being pushed the other way. The topic of transgender being a good example of that.

I love meat nothing is ever going to change that now. But unlike a lot of people, I do also love vegetables and anything salad. I ensure the green stuff is all part of my diet but I could never be vegetarian.The only time I'm ever likely to order a vegan meal is on a long haul flight, so the fookers don't end up giving me something with cheese in it.

To be fair, it was my kids that dragged me into the 21st Century. I dread to think how people without children, manage to adapt to modern developments, such as the digital age.

The problem for me is that fake meat is always mince, particularly the red meat. You won't find a whole piece or pieces of fake meat. Even fckin steaks

Yeah, ok for Spag Bol, Chilli, Shepherds/Cottage pie but not much use for much else.

I've never understood all this Quorn stuff, I just think why would a vegetarian or vegan, want to eat anything that resembles meat. I tend to find that stuff is for people who want to have a go at being vegetarian but generally fail.
