Unarmed? Some of them had pipe bombs, how were they to know she wasn't one of them, if someone is bringing that kinda weapon, scratch that any kinda weapon into a Government building it's gotta be assumed they are going to be using them, otherwise why bring it in the first place? They knew they were coming, they've known for weeks, the security should have been in place to prevent the breach rather than welcome them in, granted the fact that wasn't in place is the biggest question, but after they got in they were very lucky there wasn't a lot more casualties.

It was an armed attack on a federal building, they are not protesters they are terrorists, round them up, orange jumpsuits all around and off to Guantanamo Bay.

Yep this. We all saw how heavy it was for BLM. Fully armed national guard lining the steps of Capitol Hill. But Trump clearly didn’t give the orders for any of that for his own rabble of redneck ****tards. In the end it was left to Pence to organise some semblance of order. And indeed I believe that the Governor of Washington DC asked the Virginia Governor to send in their national guard.

You have to ask though, why the DC police and the security detail at Capitol wasn’t better prepared, given what they must have known would happen. Trump had been banging on about gathering in DC on that date and surely the chief of police could have been better prepared ? He’s resigned now, and righty so. It was a staggering breach of security.

It was allowed as it would make trump look bad.
No force was used as if it were to escalate it would be spun to look like Biden was trying to suppress the ‘truth’ that trump loyalists believe is being hidden.

Apparently the first request to send the National Guard was rejected too. I'm not one to normally cry conspiracy but this stinks.

Well yeah, given that Trump had told them to circle the 6th in their diaries weeks before and the QANON / 4Chan Trumpers had been openly stating what they were going to do under his ‘instruction’ on their forums’. Yet somehow none of this lead to additional security being in place around Capitol Hill. Funny that, especially when at the rally he literally told them to march on it.

Compare and contrast.

Trump was apparently watching it in the WH, he knew Pence was still in there, but refused the request to call in the National Guard. Pence ended up calling it. Trump has now lied about it (obvs) on Twitter.

I don't think they handled it well at any stage - right from removing the metal barriers in the walkway outside the building, to letting them into the building, backing off up the stairs, letting them roam the corridors and goad the police and then suddenly choosing to shoot an unarmed woman.

They were so intent on stopping them getting in, that they allowed them to go where they wanted. Makes no sense.

tbf a cop died trying to stop them getting inside so they probably should have just shot them all out at the front. Bit hard though, some of the mob had semi automatic guns and body armour so i'm not surprised they retreated and waited for the army to come by first.

At the point the women tried to climb into the secret part it was the last stand and my secret service just had to pop pop her ass

The Post in vote was delayed deliberately according to an American political commentator on Radio 4.
Here they are counted before the election result .
Trump knew that the postal vote was in favour of Democrats so he could cry foul knowing that he would be leading in key States with on the day voters but drop behind once the postal votes where counted.
