Funny how there’s was no real security in operation when Trump had told his supporters about his rally outside Capitol Hill weeks ago. Then he told them to march on the Hill. He then refused to sanction the National Guard being brought in - Pence ended up calling it.
His QANON and neo Nazi supporters knew exactly what was going to happen, as they’d taken his previous words as their ‘instructions’. This was planned and deliberate, he literally organised a coup as his last desperate act.
This thread from the 19th Dec spelt out what was going to happen yesterday, as they’d openly planned it.

The woman shot dead yesterday in the Capitol building has been named.
The 35 year old was a 14-year veteran of the US air force and of four foreign military tours, including to Iraq and Afghanistan. I really don't know what to make of it. Someone with so much military experience to be duped by a fat orange melon and becoming so brainwashed that she decided to break into the very building you'd think she joined the armed forces to defend. Looks like her last illegal invasion didn't go so well
I did find her shooting tragic and quite disturbing. I didn't like it. Yeh there was a bloke with a rifle behind her but perhaps shooting him would've been better.

Apparently she was trying to force her way through a broken window into the chamber where Senators were sitting. It's tragic that she'd dead, but to be honest wtf was she thinking ? And did she not think that there would be armed security in there ready to shoot ?
The whole story of how she's gone from being a Vet of the US air force, to being a brainwashed paranoid chump hoodwinked by a narcissistic psychopath, who's ended up being shot dead by the same people she joined the forces to defend is testament to just how ****ed up this is.

I'll just repeat what I said yesterday. If I trespass in a government building where there are armed guards, especially at heighten importance as yesterday, then I'd expect to be shot. The same as if it was China, Russia or North Korea. Maybe not so much in the UK as we don't carry guns, but the cops at Downing ST have them, and if I intruded on that ground or property, again there is a risk I may be shot or held at gun point.
