Or because none of the States have certified a count.

Not one.

Please see above. They don't have to before the title President Elect is conferred. Indeed, Dubya was proclaimed President Elect in 2000 even though there was still an appeal in Florida from Gore going ahead. As said, that is the convention, and the transition is supposed to start before the Electoral College meets in December to certify the count. Do some ****ing homework.

Bollocks. The clue is in the word elect.

There is no such thing as “the office of the President Elect.”

It’s a completely made up

I’m going to have to write very slowly for you, aren’t I?

Still reckon Trump will overturn this and remain in office?

This isn't a tantrum, it's an attempt at a coup. So he could.

He's been busy putting yes-men and women in key appointments. William Barr at the DoJ, and Emily Murphy at the GSA, both appear to be enabling him currently, and he's recently been stacking the Pentagon with characters sympathetic to him. And don't forget his recent appointment of an Ultra Conservative judge to the Supreme Court.

His supporters are right when they say this isn't over yet. Trump has very definitely lost the election, but he's going all in to try and grab the Presidency by any means possible. What remains to be seen is how far the Republican Party will collaborate with him.

My worst fear is that you may be right. There's a lot of talk that senior GOP's are humouring him until the legal process has been exhausted, but I fear that may be wishful thinking. Donald, imo, is going through the courts simply so he can say, at the end of it, that everyone is in it and are part of The Deep State. He certainly expects it to go to the Supreme Court. I don't know constitutionally what the US equivalent is to declaring a state of emergency, but I'm sure Trump is playing it out in his mind.

A wild guess at what I think Trump is up to, this is not directly about being President. He needs to prevent legal challanges, lawsuits against him.

So he's playing the victim card. He knows he has 70 Million Americans on his side, that's nearly the entire number of the UK population, so it's a powerful voice to have. It's not even directly about overturning the vote, he's looking for an escape route from jail.

If anyone tries to arrest him, or take him to court, he will claim its a conspiracy to silence him. So it's not really about this battle of ballot rigging that he portrays, it's just used as a protection claus, until four years time.

Could you imagine if any judge in the land tried to send Trump to jail, you'd have a war. It's about the white man, looking after the white man, especially if they are republican....watch, wait and see. <ok>

I expect his buddy Vladimir is giving him a few tips on how to bend a country's constitution to the will of a would--be tyrant.

Well yeah, it could be that. But your scenario requires him to recognise the fact that he's beaten, and I don't think he's capable of doing that. So we'll see. Either way, he's not going quietly.

The idea that Trump could claim this election and have a second term, without either proving massive vote rigging in each of the states that’ll form Bidens majority or the counts themselves somehow being wrong by thousands and thousands in any recounts, is for the birds.

Without either of the above, no amount of political posturing will overturn this result. As it’d smash American democracy and literally create a dictatorship. That’s not happening.

But that's part of the whole scenario I just gave you, of course he's not going to publically recognise he's beaten, if he does that, he can't portray the conspiracy theory to his masses.

It's not about going quietly, it's about making as much noise as possible, to understand what's going on, you have to think like him bro. <ok>

It's branding.
He didn't lose. Losing's for losers. He won.
Losers can't accept that, so they have to steal it from him.
