Bollocks. The clue is in the word elect. Although the vote isn't ratified until next month by the electoral college, by convention, when enough states have declared over the 270 threshold, then the candidate who wins is called President Elect. That's what happened to Trump in 2016, Obama in 2008, and every other one before that who wasn't already the incumbent. Please do an iota of research before using words like 'fact'.
