Top of the morning to you Saff.

Reckon we’ll get paid out tonight, or at the latest tomorrow. <ok>

Donnie is doing his level best to make sure it’ll not be for months mate. <laugh>

Next steps the State courts, then he’ll try and lean on the electoral colleges to break the convention that they simply back the elected candidate. Then he’ll undoubtedly try the Supreme Court. Honourable bookies will surely just pay out, but given it’s a huge market, who knows.

That's picked me up... I couldn't sleep last night I've been sweating and shaking like a ****ting dog all night so got the lappy out and blew 500 on the ****ing yank horses. At least I'll recover some back from good old Joe.

Yeah, he certainly won’t go quietly, but once Biden passes the magic figure of 270 electoral college votes, I expect the bookies to pay out.

Is that not a oxymoron:cheesy:

Ouch. I never touch those American ponies; everything’s on drugs for a start. Breeder’s Cup this weekend though, I used to watch that when it was free on ATR. Might take a gander this weekend and see which British and Irish horses have chances.

They were saying last night that Aiden O'Brien has brought several horses with him and a few with decent shouts. I only back the UK/Ire horses if they've got an American jockey on board. Our lot never seem to show up over there.

The last of the Old School bookies are dying off now, so yeah, it’s getting that way. You won’t ever see the likes of Fearless Freddie Williams or Barry Dennis on a racecourse again unfortunately.

Fred Done, who owns Betfred, and the Coates family who own Bet 365 are cut from that sort of cloth; “My word is my bond” and all that.

Still, at least Ladbrokes and Paddies won’t scarper from the course leaving you holding a worthless winning slip, so the modern world ain’t all bad.

Yeah, I still remember Mick Kinane steering Rock of Gibraltar to the one defeat of his 3yold season, at Arlington Park. First bad ride Mick ever gave the horse.
