Hmm. They had a dude on CNN a few days ago saying that the polls in those states are only marginally different to 2016 at this stage, and bearing in mind that Trump is the incumbent and has every apparatus of the state to bend to his will (eg, look at how he's trying to manipulate the postal service), and that lead could still dwindle in the next ten weeks. Sure, if we're where we are now in mid-October, get the cigars out. Till then Trump is still managing to return the ball back into court, even though he's two yards behind the baseline running from one side to another. He's still in the game, for sure.

Yeah I’d agree with that tbh. Biden needs to start showing something that isn’t just ‘I’m not Trump’ imo.

he's no Obama or Bill Clinton, is he? Even Jimmy Carter would have had Trump on a mortuary slab by now. He really needs to let Harris at him, imo. She's forensic and vicious.

Unlike that other poster (Liverpool fan), I thought Harris was a good choice, but you are right, we need to see more of her, either that or the media are not giving her fair coverage.

Sorry I can't open that link on my phone. Harris is a polarising figure. She finished the debates and dropped out with less than 1% popularity and openly opposed Biden. I think he thinks picking her will get him more black votes but I wouldn't be sure on that. If Biden wins, we're looking at the first female president.

The link was to polling on her popularity ratings mate. She added to Bidens popularity when named not vice versa. Which is why I asked why you had that perception?

I wonder about those polls. Who on earth do they ask? Polls say one thing one week than say something else the following week.
Next to Putin,Trump is the most dangerous phony in the world.

Difference being Putin is literally a gangster and very clever.

Trump is just some narcissistic, born into money dickwad, with the intelligence of a garden shed, who lies on Twitter daily.

Ah right. I've read a lot and watched a lot about the US presidential election this time around. I watch both sides and make my own mind up. I base my opinion on Harris by listening to what both sides have said and also from watching her herself currently and historically. She's flipped on most things, which isn't a bad thing if you are doing it from choice but not if you are doing it following pressure or for a career move. I think Biden could have picked a better running mate but I also think his choice is strategic. He's targetting votes which is how politics works.

Flipping for a career move is something the leaders, I use the term loosely, of the UK and USA have both done. Johnson performed a forward two and a half somersaults, one twist in the pike position on Europe and Trump a Front Tuck- Round-off- Back Handspring, as he was previously a Democrat.

Personally I think Harris is a great VP option. Just look at the alternative that Trump has, Pence the stooge, AKA fall guy.

Would you say you are Republican leaning because they think she's a great choice too?

Well, it’s hardly a shocker that they’re spreading that narrative though is it?

Mc Connell makes me mad. Nose up Trump's backside all the time and has helped turned the Republican Party into a sick joke. As for "Law and Order Barr"....public enemy number 1.

OK genuine answer, I have always considered myself to be influenced by policies and argument, without any particular political allegiance or swayed by propaganda. Yourself?
