Untenable position?

I also read somewhere that Tan has just raised another £17.5M through a new share issue. That could either be from conversion of some of his loans to equity (just a paper transaction for FFP purposes) or maybe even to generate actual cash from other interested parties to meet this obligation?

The problem for any new investor putting up money would be the past history Tan has of repeatedly doing this which then dilutes the value of their investment like Mike Isaacs found out to his displeasure. Mind you, if we get to the Prem it could be a very good investment........<laugh>.
<laugh><laugh><laugh> You’ll be lucky (again) to stay out of L1

Fair play then to the club for bringing in the players they have whilst subject to the embargo. It’d have been interesting to see whom they would have spent a fee on if they were not constrained.
We certainly seem to be pushing the boat out again at the moment.

VT clearing the decks and trying to get our house in order before selling up perhaps??

Reckon it makes us elevenable now... Even more with our substitutes <cheers>
Tan has made sure we did not get further embargos in summer and the following Jan. Credit to Tan. The club will never be sold if we are not in the premiership so that is the aim, fans might be happy with a top half but Tan wants promotion. Tan has always maintained the aim is to get to the premier and secure our place there.

It's awful. Such a terrible chain of events that could and should have been halted a number of times. Everyone now diving for cover leaving Henderson very exposed.

For the club's sake, I hope their statement is true in every aspect. It doesn't absolve them from the fact that they could have insisted he took commercial flights and arrived a day later but I just hope they did not have a legal responsibility to do so.

As an aside, Mrs. Bfb has been selected for jury duty in Cardiff next week. Aunty, bollocks, uncle I know but if it had been this week she could have been on the case.
Tan set up a trust fund for the family soon after the tragedy.

Well he’s wasted 2 opportunities- to paraphrase Oscar Wilde one failure is a misfortune a second failure is careless.
Will he get a third?
