I hope his career is full of failure from this point onwards, call me bitter, or unforgetful. But I couldn't give a **** about him now.
Hope his ugly mush is removed from the hall of fame no wonder he was so uncomfortable when it went in, just lost every bit of respect for him
I have to say, if this had been reported anywhere else, I would not have believed it! We owe him so much for the three years work he did for us, but that has completely disappeared on the strength of this. As others have said, all respect has gone!
Or is it just his way of alienating us before the game you know how his psyche works trying to create a derby atmosphere he always wins derbys Ignore the git we paid him for what he achieved now let's forget him
Doesn't wash mate, if that happened to Southampton you wouldn't be giving it the "everyone does it, you would do it given the choice". Football is a completely different business, it doesn't work like that. When there is such passion in a sport, in a club, then loyalty counts for a lot. He wouldn't be where he is without us, so to leave us is one thing. To try and worm money out of us with some constructive dismissal bullshit, when he got what he wanted out of us anyway is another.
Hilarious! Excellent news, LAMBCHOPS has gone up in my estimation! I hope he takes you vile budgerigars to the cleaners.
How EXACTLY is it bull****? It's an open and shut case Iâm afraid. FACT! Lambert had a clause in his contract which stipulated that Norwich had to give other Premiership clubs permission to talk him once they approached Norwich for his services. When Villa came in for Lambert you failed to give the said permission and therefore breached of the terms of Lambertâs contract. Lambert will win damages for breach of contract and constructive dismissal and as a result your action against Villa will also fail, leaving you budgies with a rather large bill for legal costs.
For what hè had achieved in 3 seasons with us I had hoped he would receive a warm welcome on his return to Carrow Road, after this little bombshell I hope his reception is red hot.
Again, things could be worse i.e Colchester United. Whether we win or not it's ridiculous thing that he's done, when you think he actually got what he wanted anyway.
Another thing that could come out of this, is that the 'Lambert Love In' that some fans still belong to, is now over, and they might well get behind Hughton now instead of calling for his head.
Let's face it, Lambert is utterly ruthless, which is one of the reasons he is a very good manager. He needs to be careful, though - fail at Villa and he may just join the ranks of almost-were managers who do the roundabout of lower Prem/upper Championship clubs. Personally, I'm happier with Hughton now. I feel he offers much better prospects long-term.
I had a lot of respect for him before now, he's not a Norwich fan and wanted to progress in his career. Fair enough, that happens. But taking a club in a fragile (uncertain atm) position like ours for a large sum of money that would have been invested in the playing squad that could mean the difference between years of success or championship obscurity is despicable. He was backed to the hilt while here and a lot of his success is down to us, without the significant financial backing and adulation he got from us I doubt he's be as big a name as he is today. Even if he had a case then 10/20 k sounds more like it, he only lost about a weeks wages! What a greedy tw*t!
Without knowing the details of Lambert's contract it's impossible to say, but the claim will hinge on those details and obviously Lambert's lawyers believe he has something of a case... Keegan and Curbishley have both claimed constructive dismissal from previous clubs, and won, albeit in different circumstances, but still on a breach of contract... http://www.silver-shemmings.co.uk/article.asp?aid=80
