Just heard that the latest college shooting was the 45th of it's kind THIS YEAR in the USA
Anyone not wonder why the US has all of a sudden gone ape ****? Why this escalation? What has made people just turn into mad men going on rampages, it happens on no other country on earth where guns are aplenty. Even in the middle east, lone gunmen on rampanges in schools is not the norm so wtf
I know for a fact that two big shootings never happened, can't speak for anything I don't know about. LAX and Sandyhook most certainly were not shootings. They were absolutely psyOps
Its averaging one mass school shooting per week now.
And thats just schools, leaving aside the Dylann Roof church incident, the on-air shooting of that news anchor and a thousand other incidents.
And Republican's blame it on mental health!
What do they think that the US is the only country with crazy people?
No, its just that our crazy people cannot go to Tesco, buy a shotgun and then walk into a Primary school and start unloading.
Australia introduced gun legislations and then noticed a marked drop in gun related homicides and suicides. Did the gun laws cure the crazy people? No....it just stopped them getting guns.
I grow more and more frustrated with the US every day.

Canada has had plenty of guns but not the massacres. Australia never had problems of this mangitude though. Doesn't take a genius to figure banning guns will lower gun use though the biggest impact is on legally owned guns being misused, criminals will still get guns no matter.
So, if this is actually the case, surely the issue is there are an alarmingly high number of Americans looking to die and take as many as possible down with them.. this is one of the most unnatural things to ocurr, one has to be batshit mental.

What causes people to decide to shoot people and die themsleves is certainly on topic.
If Students decided to start stabbing other students in the neck with pencils rather than using guns.. do we talk about the pencils or the students doing the killing, because all the talk is about the method and not the motives of the individual and why they went down that road.

I can guarantee, with some assurance, that if they passed gun laws preventing these nutters from getting guns, there will not be a spree of mass pencil stabbings (or knives for that matter), they do these things because guns are highly deadly and they are cowards.

Just listening to Jeremy Vine before, and on the news they interviewed a crying, American teenager from the school. When asked would gun controls have stopped this, she replied: "Hell, no! We all need to be armed to stop this: I can't wait until I reach 18 so that I'm allowed to carry around a concealed weapon with me".... Presumably she means into school.
I thought the NRA response to Sandy Hook of arming teachers was bonkers, but this is just nuts. Yet this is what Obama is up against. Arm everyone except teenage black men - and they're the ones most statistically likely to be shot!
The NRA's response is always "more guns". Its pathetic, to say that after Sandy Hook was ****ing crazy. It was a kindergarten for ****s sake. The chances of a toddler finding a teachers gun and blowing his own head off would be far greater than a teacher using a gun to stop a crazed gunman. But the US right wing is ****ing crazy

It's not the best situation. Lots of people holding on to the Constitution rights which were written when we were at war, finishing a war,etc. The ability to obtain firearms like that is frightening and especially with people who have mental issues.
Wish it could be as easy as no more guns for the public but overhere that is just going to cause absolute mayhem, needs to be something in place though as a greater checks and balances system.

The problem is the ease with which you can get guns, and not just handguns but military grade weapons, in the USA.
They always quote the constitution and the right to bear arms, but apparently they just quote the bit they think suits their arguement. I read somewhere that the constitution wording does not mean everyone is entitled to carry weapons all the time, it was only meant to be for national emergencies. I could not be bothered trawling the internet for a copy of the constitution.
If no guns were available to these nutters they may still go on a stabbing spree, but at least there is a good chance they would be tackled fairly quickly and restrained. I believe one ex soldier tried to tackle the shooter yesterday, despite being unarmed, and was shot 3 times, but survived.
There was a black guy interviewed on the news this morning his son, aged 17, had been shot and killed at a petrol station by a white guy who objected to 3 black kids playing their rap music to loud in their car. He accused them of playing "thug music" and when they answered back he fired 10 shots into the car. The kids had no weapons. 2 survived, but the kid in the back was hit 3 times and died.
The worst thing was it took two trials before the white guy was found guilty and got life without parole, the father said it was an uphill battle and took nearly 3 years to bring the shooter to court, despite loads of witnesses and CCTV footage.
That sums up the "good old US of A".

It's insane. This attitude towards guns is just lunacy, and they just can't see it. Or those that can just have their voices drowned out.
The fact that you're not allowed to have a thermo nuclear missile in your back yard is proof that arms control is perfectly possible with the constitution. It's just the political will that's lacking.
