Having said that, Benevento (who?) are bottom, having played 13 and lost every single one of them! <laugh>
Scored 6, conceded 33! Quality Italian defending there.
It has to be said Benvento have some quality names in their squad: Kanoute, Costa, D'Allisandro, Puscas

...not the good players with those names, obviously, but we have to start somewhere!
They've won 11 and drawn 2 in Serie A. Shakhtar and City (twice) are the only clubs that they've lost against.
Not sure whether that says more about the clubs in their Champions League group or those in their domestic league, though.
The Ukrainians have only lost a couple in the league, but is their league any good? No idea.
There's the grand total of two good teams in the Ukrainian Premier League: Shakhtar and Dynamo Kyiv. A couple of seasons ago that number did increase to three when Dnipro got a billionaire backer - but then UEFA banned them for all UEFA competitions for three seasons after failing to comply with FFP (a sanction that I'm sure they'll use on other clubs...) so their owner stopped funding the club, a move which saw finish go from keeping pace with Dynamo and Shakhtar towards the top of the table to finishing seventeen points from safety last season as they plummeted into the second tier.

Looking at the groups the answer to who had the better result in the last round-City vs Napoli or us vs RM might just come about in the next round.
We could be drawn against Napoli and City could draw RM

Reports are coming in that Liverpool fans in Sevilla were attacked by police and denied entry to the stadium...........doesn't that sound more than a bit familiar? My brother got the **** beaten out of him by riot police in 2007 whilst protecting his wife - broken ribs, wrist, concussion.

Will UEFA do anything? Will they ****?

The ****ers do it every year. I can clearly remember them attacking wheelchair bound fans in our game. ****s.
Leicester and Lyon last season, IIRC.

Barca are group winners.

Chelsky qualify, but with Atletico needing to
win to qualify, top of the group is not guaranteed
(Chelsky draw + Roma win means they finish 2nd) .

Utd are 9 goals better off than CSKA, so a 10 goal swing in the last would put Utd second. They are 6 goals better off than Basle and Basle have no more relevant games to play to improve GD (though they do have to beat Benfica or it's academic). 6-0 wouldn't do as Utd get through on goals scored, but a 7 goal reverse and it's down to 3rd

Neither is likely to happen, sadly.
And Liverpool's group could also end in a 3 way tie. If Sevilla draw away in Maribor and Moscow win at Anfield, then all have 9 points. If Sevilla win and Liverpool lose, they are out, as Moscow would have a better head to head record and Sevilla more points. If Sevilla only draw, then Liverpool would have to lose by 5 goals at home to drop below Sevilla.
Of more importance though is our potential last 16 opponent
1 Basle or Moscow (could also be Utd, very unlikely though and we can't play them yet)
2 Bayern or PSG (an unlikely 4-0 win for Bayern over PSG would put them top) Would like to avoid either <yikes>
3 Roma or Atletico (Roma only need to win at home to Carrier Bag)
4 Juventus or Sporting Sporting need a win in Barca and hope Juve don't beat Olympiacos
5 Sevilla or Spartak (could be Pool second, but we can't play them yet)
6 Shaktar or Napoli
7 Porto or Leipzig
Obviously like to avoid Bayern (or the very unlikely possibility of PSG), but would fancy any other draw. None easy but none we'd be huge underdogs for.

Where the **** is Pirlo?

Or Buffon?
Or Cannavaro?
Or a right back who can actually defend?

I'm more bothered by the fact that they've declared the century over all of 17 years into it.

In 60 years' time, footballers with genetically augmented bodies will look at this list and laugh.

Something tells me we won't be getting many Premier League clubs announcing goals like this...
