i missed the game, the fact it clashed with the soap awards is a coincidence....honest

I still find it hilarious how they sold out for their game against Leeds but haven't sold out for their last two playoff semi-final home legs.
Hardly a surprise though, it's not like a game at Huddersfield requires someone from Leeds to have an overnight stay in a hotel is it? Huddersfield is as good as a home game for Leeds, and even after adding on the train fare it's probably cheaper for a Leeds fan to go to the game in Huddersfield than it would be the return fixture.
Means when you go there the crowd is effectively drawing from their home crowd and your home crowd combined as well as the extras on both sides that turn up for local derby games. For the playoff games it drops to being their home crowd plus local glory supporters. It's a much smaller pool.
Hope Town come up, nothing to do with me living in Huddersfield, honest!
And whoever said the train fare, it's ã3 return to Leeds from Huddersfield on the train, so it hardly breaks the bank, unlike Bournemouth!
Only people on Huddersfield's database were able to buy tickets in the home section.
Having been to one of the L1 games between you I can guarantee you there were a lot of Leeds fans in the home section. Either the restriction wasn't in place the first season, or as it was an all ticket game that time all those Leeds fans were in the database. In future years they'd be in the database having previously bought tickets for the game I was at.
Considering they finished third, 16 points ahead of fourth, they really deserve to go up and I quite fancy playing them next season. I'd quite like us to buy Danny Ward off them first though.
Same one.Isn't Danny Ward on loan from Bolton? Or is that a different one?
