Seeing goalkeepers giving away stupid penalties like that makes me so angry.

Very clumsy penalty to give away from Johnstone, he was never anywhere near the ball. The midfield looked very tired and were overrun in the second half, it seems like Ward-Prowse ran out of steam and couldn't keep up with the second half - this may be down the very hot climate they're playing in.

Or the fact that, like the England team at all levels currently, they're just not very good.

JWP played ok in the bits I saw. But like other England teams, its this plodding passing game moving the ball between the defence and holding midfielders that just goes no where.

As I was flicking between this game and the Cricket, managed to witness two England team ****-ups almost simultaneously. Makes ya proud.

We did win the Junior rugby world cup beating New Zealand in the semis and then Wales. In the final David Sisi from Totton came on for the second half and helped turn the game around. Brilliant.

After watching this game I have looked back on Senior and other National games and found that we seem to want to get the ball from A to B with speed?.Looking at Spain from 17s up they think about how to get the ball from A to B.
We do not have the style of player of Xavi or Iniesta.? I have said this before over the years I have kept an out on a lad from our Academy, who has these qualities.

I have heard things like very composed , first touch excellent, poise on the ball, vision, passing ability short and long distance excellent, shooting power outside the box, can cross a ball 30yards no problem. He also scored from the half way line?. His style fits the Spanish system Who is he. I can tell you he is young and from what his host family have said, seems to want to change his nationality.

That's good, but Rugby isn't a proper sport.

The u20s looked tired and lethargic at the end...should have been able to hold out, but once the pen went in the Iraqis were revitalised.

Whether or not you like it, everything they do is planned and professional. I'm sure our age-group football teams could learn a thing or two.
