We’re also, hilariously, bottom of the Fair Play League this season.

I think their recruitment was a lot better than ours. They improved from the team they had last season. We didn’t. Remember Ipswich beat us twice last season.Mental that we've lost 5 more games than Ipswich already. I know they will likely be going back down with us but their team isn't that much better than ours, arguably it's equal or worse.

It's not hard to do better than our recruitment
As the season is going on the gap in quality is looking bigger, but I'm still not sure if man for man there is much in it.
What would be interesting; and sadly we'll never know, is if we swapped summer signings would we be where Ipswich are now and they be where we are? Maybe we'd be closer than 10 points off them, but I feel like we'd still be bottom.
Just signing Delap would've made a big difference to us I believe.

Lifted off Saintsweb - the last time we won a PL game by more than one goal was February 2022.
Though thinking about I'm not sure that's correct. Didnt we beat Chelsea 2-0 last time?
That was 2-1 if I remember right; Ralphs last home win?
I was thinking the away one under Selles?
Ah yeah, JWP free kick 1-0 wasn't it?

Ah I thought it was two. Maybe the stat is right then.
Nearly 3 years![]()

Probably only had a handful of wins since then as well![]()
4 since we sacked Ralph apparently.
Trying to rack my brains here;
Chelsea (A) - Selles
Everton (A) - Jones
Everton (H) - Martin
??
What was the other one? Everton must really hate us, maybe it's them again
Selles beat Leicester at home too in a game we should have lost about 4-1 iirc.
