TWS

Have to say I agree with GLP. Leeds do look really strong and the best they've been for over a decade. Brighton look the strongest of the current top two and I'd say them over Newcastle for the title. Though I suspect it'll be play offs for Leeds, they look capable of breaking into the top 2 should a slip up happen.

I think Newcastle's problem is that they bought a lot of players and have too many to pick from, and Raffa doesn't know his best team. I know he likes to rotate, and whether at the end of the season doing that helps them finish of the season stronger I guess only time will tell.

You hope that. I genuinely think they are good enough. They started off poorly - they are on the charge now. 1-0 scoreline last night somewhat flattered Derby. You look at the Derby side - Nugent, Vydra, Ince, Hughes, Carson, Johnson. Leeds bossed and dominated them all over the pitch.

That Derby performance reminded me of one of our nightmare away games last season.

Leeds had four 1st choices out and still have to add to their squad this window, add in a new co owner who's worth serious money and it's all looking good for them.

Do I put my bet on now? Leeds will be promoted this season. I think they'll grab one of those auto spots. Monk has done a very good job. He's made some really shrewd signings. Good young manager.

They're 4 point off Newcastle who have a game in hand, they ain't catching them any time soon.

I don't know why Monk ever became considered not a good manager. I thought he did very well and was really harshly treated at Swansea. I wasn't happy when he joined Leeds. I hoped they'd be unsalvageable but evidently not.

Seriously worrying times for this club if we swap places with them.

I wouldn't say it's worrying if we swap places with them, we've had five seasons of premier league football while they've been in the Championship/League 1. It just shows that we've been poorly managed and looked after and they haven't (ish).

Erm wtf?

I can't imagine even the most rabid Anti Allamites would prefer to have had Cellino as our owner. Or Bates. Or Steve Evans as our manager.

So on that basis, Id say they've had a much ****ter time in both of those respects than we have.

Which serves the ****s right.

A survey showed that one in three tws fans are just as deluded as the other two.

It's more like 8 points with the GD. They'll have to win pretty much every game to get top 2.

Monk has done a cracking job, he's one of most promising British gaffers

Leeds still have to go up to Newcastle. I can see them getting a result. I'm impressed with what Monk has done - and I really don't like them (Leeds) either. But they are playing football that look easily good enough to get them an automatic spot.

Ok stop it with the TWS bromance GLP, I find it very unsettling

My colleague and brother in law are both Leeds United fans - there's no love lost. I do just think they are playing some decent stuff and I'm man enough to admit it.

I can't see them beating Newcastle, the quality they have is extraordinary for the Championship. I've seen Leeds quite a bit on Sky this year and they look a tidy side, I missed them last night, but I still think there's at least 3 better sides in that division (Newcastle, Brighton, Reading)

I'm very surprised how poorly Norwich are doing, I thought they'd be right up there, considering how strong their squad is.
