Take a look in your mirror if your looking for thugs sunshine, was in York the other pre season when Hull scum were causing havoc.Could I walk around hull and to the ground on my own without getting attacked ?.not a chance.Only have to read the bitter rabid Leeds hating posts on here to see you've got plenty of your own scum.

Yes definitely.

It's a very friendly place and to anyone who has actually been that much is obvious.

It's called passion, I'm sure it must have been a shock for a Hull fan.

No, I think you'll find it is a lout spending the next 16 weeks at her majestys pleasure and quite rightly wont be attending another match for 6 years.

If you think that feral behaviour is ever justified then you will always be an outcast in British society I am proud to say.

Ah good, someone else who completely misread my comment. <doh>

No it isn't.

Have to say I agree with TWF. People always talk about people being friendly in Hull but having lived there for 22 years it's probably one of the least friendly most wary of 'outsiders' places Ive ever known. Recently a stranger I was talking to in the city snapped at me 'you're not from Hull' when a) the situation had no relevance whether I was from Hull or not and b) I AM from Hull. But it was so telling about the small town mentality of what is a medium sized city.

I have had the pleasure of working in just about every town and city in the uk.

Leeds is no worse than anywhere. Dont believe the statistics about any place they are always flawed. Hull can be a delight, but anyone who lives on or close to any of the estates knows that it can also be hell as well. But the same can be said for so many places around the UK. Bristol, Portsmouth, Southampton, all have places to avoid. Here in the New Forest you would think that it would be lout free. Well New Milton a sleepy little town bordering Lymington is sleepy alright. But thats down to the drugs and drink. We have real gang warfare going on there, families have been fighting and killing each other for years on one estate called Davis Fields.
I was brought up on North Hull Estate and my family are still there, I see the same problems in nearly every place.
"We all hate Leeds Scum" is a football chant, nothing more and nothing less. Fine in and around the ground, but out of order away from football. I join in chants, they are part of the game. But if I meet someone from Leeds I dont say that "I think you are scum". Its nonsense.
Simon21, wind your neck in. Leeds fans where wrong, just get on with it and take the rap.

Very much a Hull boy Ringo, just starting to cringe a bit at some of the nonsense posted on here.

Nonsense that will no doubt come back to bite us on the arse next time one of our dip-****s does something equally daft.

Agree with you on that OLM, we all have some absolute tools amongst our ranks and when they play up they should face the consequences, not the club and not the fans of the club, if i was to rob a bank it would be me up in court to face the rap, not the rest of my family, so why is it different in football?

<doh> that is just so deluded.

Yes, everyone who's been here is deluded into thinking it's very friendly.

Just because you haven't experienced a place where eye contact is permitted and the streets are safe, doesn't mean one can't exist.

Yobs are everywhere but most clubs are not in denial like the vermin are

Mind you, what else can you expect from a set of mugs who believe they are Champions of Europe?

Hard edge to Hull life can't be denied but still more friendly than most, less impersonal, less up its own arse and not having much money means social cohesion is greater.Small town mentality is not all bad.

But if the rest of your family denied you'd robbed the bank and said it was just 'passion for money' or some such ****.....?
