About ten years ago I was working on the roof of the Holiday Inn at Glasgow Airport...I was looking over the parapet of the building watching a crane setting up to lift my equipment up to the roof. Lightning struck the conductor rod at the top of the lift shaft, and arced across to the lightning protection strip running around the parapet. It ran straight across my head - I had a line through my hair of singed, burnt hair like you do if you put your arm to close to the gas hob. Very frightening, but still here to tell the tale
Taking their men and their work is one thing, but taking their truth is altogether a different kettle of something.
