There are so many tweets that are worth a look I thought a dedicated thread might be a good place to post any that are worth a look/laugh. Here's one that is quite surreal, those of you who joined this site from the BBC 606 site might remember Ashdown Ranger who was a regular poster...

He obviously indulged in some gratuitous sax and she responded with mindless violins...(sorry, couldn't resist that one)

True story...

I went to buy some perfume for a girlfriend once and asked the woman in the store if they had anything that smelled of violets. She looked at me in a very peculiar way and said, warily, 'Do you mean something with a very powerful aroma?' 'Not necessarily', I said, 'just something with the smell of violets'. 'VIOLETS!', she replied, 'I thought you said violence!'
