You guys don't have a clue. Twitter is a medium just like this forum and you can use or misuse it however you like. If it doesn't appeal to you, that's cool, but don't slag things off just because you don't understand them.
It's called having a opinion, like you are now. My opinion is there are alot of sad attention seeking whores on it.
I didn't slag Twitter, I slagged the idiots who comprise a large proportion of the users of Twitter. Said idiots are in abundance everywhere...Twitter merely gives them a means to be visible.
Schad, fair enough, I was aiming that more at the most recent posters who dismissed the whole thing as a waste of time. And yes, BD, I'm sure there are a lot of sad attention seeking whores on it, to use your words. But you don't have to engage with people like that.
I know it's getting a bit off topic, but I run a promotions business and Twitter is incredibly useful as a business tool as it happens. But yes, the other meaning of tool is also very prevalent on it too......
I agree it can be used for such as your business etc. But far to many use it as a means of one uping each other.
