A bolt action rifle can fire a round every 3 seconds with a cartridge (I do this monthly), so even such a weapon would have caused carnage in vegas

There’s no comparison between a marksman rifle and a semi automatic assault rifle in terms of the devastation they can reek in a mass shooting scenario. The latter is always the weapon of choice for a reason fella. If it’s no longer on sale the tide starts to slowly turn.

What I am saying is that the election of Trump to such an important Office do give ammunition to people all over the world who don’t want democracy. When democracy can give you someone like Trump through massive amounts of electoral advertising and financial backing. Hundreds of millions being spent to tell outright lies to affect people thinking and getting the outcome that they wish to see. (Just like Brexit but that’s a different story!)
