WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump said Wednesday he was willing to testify under oath in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election, the latest twist in a probe that he has repeatedly denounced as a “witch hunt.”
Mr. Trump’s statement was more emphatic than his answer to the same question at a news conference two weeks ago, when he said of a possible appearance before Mr. Mueller, “we’ll see what happens,” though he also noted Wednesday that any decision is “subject to my lawyers.”

I believe this is after he hauled in some FBI assistant director and asked him which way he voted and then went to the director and tired to get him fired... don't know if he didn't answer or what.

I think sessions was interviewed?

Like... it will be a nothing interview unless they have the ability to grill him in session for 8 hours or something.

I imagine trump had adequate experience of sitting and saying nothing in the 1000s of law suits he's had for not paying people etc over the years. I can't imagine he's going to hit an agent or confess it was all a put up.

Donald Trump has said he is willing to apologise for retweeting inflammatory videos by the far-right Britain First group.

The US President also said "I don't care" if some people are opposed to his visit to the UK later this year.

During an interview with ITV's Good Morning Britain, Mr Trump said that he did not know anything about the organisation when he made the social media postings.

He told presenter Piers Morgan: "If you are telling me they're horrible people, horrible, racist people, I would certainly apologise if you'd like me to do that."

so he said he's be willing to if... not that he was actually sorry.

typical politician speak that

It's called vote farming. Poor and disenfranchised almost always vote democrat.

Amongst minorities and maybe in cities... Yes. Here in the US though you visit a white trailer park and they're all Republicans.

The poor white rural voters are Republicans. They believe in the capitalist system and wealth buying privilege. Not because they themselves have wealth, but because they all dream they will be rich one day, they think they will win the lottery, or get to sue some company into riches (Even though 99.99% of them never will get rich and US actually has very little social mobility).

Right now, the US is booming, people signing on the dole lowest in 45 years, black unemployment lowest ever.
Tax breaks for small businesses and working families
Factories coming back to the US
Stock market on a month to month record breaking trend (so much for it collapsing according to the experts)
Bonuses and raises proper for the first time in 25 years

but Muh Russian Conspiracy or something, I don't like Trump one bit... talk about delivering on campaign promises, show me a politician\party that has done that? I cant' seem to think of one.
The things he is doing now with regulations and reform were the exact same things he said he would do if we ever ran, on Oprah 2 over decades ago! lol

meanwhile, this is actually a ****ing caterpillar, seeing as we are on the subject of Trump

Job creation and GDP growth slower under Trump than it was under Obama. Stock market doing better under Trump though.

The irony being that studies have shown clearly that areas of diversity and bigger immigrant influx have more social mobility. More small business start up and better economic performance as well as lower crime rates.

But as long as all they see are white faces they don't care about jobs, going to hospital, not being a victim of crime etc.... they are "dreamers" too apparently. ..dreaming of burning crosses and Zionist conspiracies and deep state plots against Billy Bob.....because the world revolves around Billy Bob <laugh>

First Lady Melania Trump had everyone channeling Brad Pitt and asking, “What’s in the box?” last January when she gave outgoing first lady Michelle Obama a Tiffany & Co. box on inauguration day.

Well, Ellen DeGeneres has the answer.

In her first televised interview since leaving the White House, Obama, 54, revealed to DeGeneres that Trump gave her a “lovely frame”—presumably of the photo variety. People has a clip from the gabfest which will air Thursday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The former first lady also spoke to DeGeneres about how the gift exchange broke from inauguration protocol and resulted in an awkward moment on the steps of the White House.

Trump-Russia: Republican memo accuses FBI of abusing power
"I think it's terrible...I think it's a disgrace", Trump said of the controversial memo
US Congress has released a memo accusing the FBI of abusing its power in its investigations into Donald Trump's presidential campaign.

The memo, commissioned by Republicans, alleges the FBI used unsubstantiated evidence to spy on a Trump aide.

Approving its release, Mr Trump called the memo a "disgrace".

But Democrats say it is aimed at derailing investigations into Mr Trump, while the FBI says key facts have been omitted.

Controversy over the memo, which was written by Republican congressional staffers, has raged for days.

Asked about the contents of the memo, Mr Trump told a lot of people should be "ashamed of themselves".

Earlier on Friday the president accused top officials of politicising FBI and justice department investigations to damage his Republican party.

House intelligence panel chairman Devin Nunes, who commissioned the memo, has said it shows "serious violations" of public trust and he hopes it will trigger reforms.

Democrats on the panel say the memo release is a shameful effort to discredit" the FBI and the inquiries in to Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

FBI agents say they "have not, and will not, allow partisan politics to distract" from their work.

What's in the secret memo?
Approved by the House Intelligence Committee on Monday and by Mr Trump on Friday, the document raises "concerns with the legitimacy and legality" of the handling by the justice department and the FBI of requests for surveillance warrants against a Trump aide called Carter Page.

It says this represents "a troubling breakdown of legal processes established to protect the American people from abuses".

The memo argues that the FBI and justice department did not tell the judge that some of their justification for the warrant relied on a much-disputed dossier.

Compiled by a former British intelligence agent, Christopher Steele, that dossier was financed in part through the campaign of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to dig up data on alleged links between Mr Trump's campaign and Russia.

lol.

The Nunes memo. after all the republicans build up basically says nothing we didn't already know but except omitting context and other things we knew already.

The Steele dossier was part of the evidence presented to the fisa judge to obtain permission for surveillance on Page without acknowledging it's source. So? it won't have been the only evidence or authorisation wouldn't have been given.

The final document was originally paid for by the DNC. we knew that too. despite it being initiated by rival republicans (ommitted) ...and paying somebody to find dirt doesn't mean the dirt isn't real.

Carter Page had been under investigation since 2013 so hardly this dossier that initiated that investigation eh?

We know there were other sources of info being used by FBI .. . a few from within the Trump camp.

Meuller had nothing to do with the FISA application or renewal so that attempt at discrediting him was limp as feck lol

So all this memo confirms is that for the 2nd time in just over a year Trump has handed the Russians information that could lead to them discovering US/Allies sources. and despite the yells you'll hear from GOPers over next few days there's nothing in this memo that could justify stopping Meuller or firing Rosentein to replace with someone who will stop Meuller. ..

Jesus this lot aren't even good at making **** up. you'd think after so much practice like?
