Re: January transfer outgoings.
11 of our 25 man squad are Jones chuff signings, so difficult to see NJ turning on them & flogging them.
Decisions need to be made on whether to extend the deals of ex Luton shire horses Potts & Hylton.
That leaves around 14 first teamers up for sale including the Academy lads.
You might free up a few quid in wages by Edun, Tennai & Taylor getting free transfers in January.
Even David Blunkett wouldn’t give Aneke a second look.
Who does that leave who can command a fee, and free up transfer funds
In no way, shape or form was this scrubbing around for money what Methven & Co promised us in the sales pitch.

Absolutely essential to get L Jones non a new contract. What's the use in getting the likes of ahadme on a 4-year contract if the better players like Leaburn and Jones are only given short contracts? I don't expectour current management to improve the squad, so at least tie up the few good players we actually have.
I think a lot of Championship Clubs are after him. He was excellent yesterday and if we have any thoughts about promotion Lloyd Jones is the sort of player we need.
Fortunately for the SMT, we have no thoughts of promotion.
If we have even a 1% ambition of promotion this season, we should keep Lloyd Jones. Him, Mitchell & Ramsay when fit have been our only decent performers.
Small is getting better, some of he’s crosses were very good on Boxing Day.
