You don't have to tell me mate. Looking pretty grim. The lack of depth is scary. If i was the likes of Greenwood I'd be hesitant of accepting a long term loan as their chance will probably come this season once the injuries kick in.

Makes you hanker for the days of Roy Keane when we bought every bugger going. Didn't we have something like 46 players at one point?

Oh it's not enough, but at least he's spending what he can. Short is just hovering up transfer fees, loan fees and free wages.
 
Renato Sanchez on loan to Swansea. ****ing hell, a squad who looked as bad as us last season relying on one man scoring to keep them up. World has gone crazy.

The difference McCormack could make at this level mate, I doubt Villa are holding us to ransom for a high earner who's not gonna play a ****ing game.

Maybe we're holding them to ransom, they really want rid. Very very dangerous game to play on deadline day though. Apparently rangers are in for him but he turned them down flat as he's set on joining us. Don't know if there's any truth in it though.

Look on the bright side lads, the faster Short reaches his financial goals the faster we're sold to someone keen on investing and building.

We've also got rid of most of the terrorists in the squad and I don't seriously believe for a minute we'll be relegated even if the window shut this minute.

Yeah I think he's been quite clear all summer he's keen to come here. He's a match winner he would make such a difference.
