Same reason they bought Willian...to.stop us buying him In all honesty I've just said on the spurs board he isn't the player we need right now. A speed merchant with a bag of tricks is who we should be after.
for 15 million it's fairly low risk and maybe coming to a 'bigger' club will bring him on, but I just don't see him getting many games, even when fit. We have a decent side and to improve it we need players who are going to really compete for the first 11. Mahrez would be far more exciting but of course would cost 3 times as much. Or Pastore, as PGS surely need to offload some players and we nearly bought him a few years back.
Don't really rate him but it's a reasonable deal at 15M. Was massively overpriced in the summer and this is a much smarter deal. There is a chance he'll flop massively but even if he does we'll get our money back on him.
I suppose. The title race is all but over, so its not like we have much to lose by giving him a shout, for £15m, not a huge risk. Just another underwhelming signing, like Danny ****ing Drinkwater. Who we gonna sign next? Danny Welbeck? Jimmy Bullard? He might be worth a comeback shout.
what a joke. Why the **** we buying barkley. We are already loaded in CM with bakayoko, kante, drinkwater and cesc Tbf drinkwater was underwhelming but i quite like him after seeing him perform. Honestly, i think Barkley could be an asset, except he's mugged us off once and also i want us to develop fuzzy. If we bring in Barkley might as well say goodbye to fuzzy
Aye thats the main thing Its not just that we are making underwhelming signings, its that we are signing underwhelming squad players, to replace academy players who haven't been given a fair crack.
Barkley won't hold up Ampadus development. He will do Loftus Cheeks though if he comes back next season. I'm interested to see where Barkley fits, would he be in a 343 with Hazard and Morata? Or a 352? But then you probably couldn't get away with him in Cesc. I just don't really set how he fits in the system.
If he comes in i reckon conte will stick with 3-5-2 which is what he had at juve although you could probably have barkley in a 3-4-3. I think he would hold up fuzzys development. Fuzzy doesn't get any games now as it is!. Still don't think RLC will make it with us
As it stands RLC is a much better player for me, and this is just like buying someone's garbage off them. Why the hell are we buying burgers when we have steak in the fridge. Total waste off money, even if he does turn out half decent he will be stunting the progress of one of our own and for no real long term benefit.
Doubt it as Ampadu looks like a centre half or deep lying midfielder (similar to Luiz) and Barkley is much more of an attacking player. RLC is the most obvious casualty in the long run.
Ross has all the potential just like that certain #8 from Spammers who joined more than a decade ago, but does Ross has the attitude and application? Now then we need Mahrez, that rumour will be good if it happens.
If Ross can show the right attitude he will be an asset. Moving on to Sanchez now. 35M not too bad. He may want to stay in London too.
According to SSN we've actually made contact over Andy Carroll but we want a loan...who's in charge of our transfer policy now?
