Should of included RVW in the deal.
He could of tied up with his mate Snoddy! Ha!

Just saw this posted on 'Vital Norwich', made me smile
Next stage. Brady signs for an undisclosed fee. Hull say its £ 7 million and Norwich say its nowhere near that. Brady says once he had spoken to AN and listened to his vision of the future he knew straight away he wanted to sign. He then praises the training facilities and supporters, probably mentioning how great CR was to play at when he played there for Hull. Cue photo of him holding crap new shirt.

I don't mind the away kit so much, just the goal keepers kit.![]()
I'm sure AN will have looked into the possibility of signing a centre back this summer but if we want quality acquisitions that will improve our team, finding a centre back that fulfils that statement is tricky to find, especially given our relatively limited budget. Brady improves us. Mulumbu improves us. Dorrans improves us.
I believe van Dijk would improve our starting eleven, he's a talented lad, but I'm not surprised clubs like Everton and Southampton are in for him and even if they weren't, the £10m asking price will likely be out of our reach. AN isn't going to sign a centre half who he doesn't feel offers us something better. Neil Adams did that last summer and wasted fees and wages on Cuellar and the hideously bad Miquel.
I personally would be spending the rest of our budget on a centre half, although as someone who was very critical of Martin playing centre back last season - mainly because he was dire when playing there initially - I actually have less concerns about him next season than I did a year ago. Not only do I think he has improved in that role - mainly because he has Bassong alongside him I suspect - I think he is more suited to the Premier League as he does read the game fairly well.
Like I say, in an ideal world we would bring in a top centre back and partner Bassong with him - but it might not be possible.
I have to admit that Van Dijk is out of our price range but when we signed Seb he was our record signing at the time. CB is certainly our weakest position. I would worry too much about spending £10m on Van Dijk as I think he'd be worth it. We'd easily be able to recoup it and he would improve our team by that amount of money. I think we'd struggle to significantly improve the team with two £5m signings one £10m would however.
Its sounding like Van Dijk maybe a bit out of our price range now, with the size of the clubs supposedly showing interest for £10m.
So, what about trying to sign a CB from one of the relegated clubs? Curtis Davies? Steven Caulker? Both good ages with good experience.
Interesting - as I remember wishing we'd signed Curtis Davies when we were last in the PL!!!!
Looks like another day without news then, Brady surely can't be far off though now.
From the Alex Neil soundbites it seems like other deals are progressing. I'd love to see the club announce someone the media haven't caught wind of at the same time as Brady.
I would spend 10 Million on Van Dijk. We are very weak at the back, he is an amazing defender who can play the ball out from the back. Champions League, and bigger clubs always linked with him. We should just go for it. Like Southampton did to amazing effect. I'd rather spend 10 Million on Van Dijk, than the 8.75m we payed for one goal from Ricky.
