I hope that we are actually interested in Slimani prior to a deal for RvW otherwise this could end up like the Becchio and Morrsion deal
Once bitten, twice shy I would suggest? I'd be pretty disappointed if the club wasn't extremely wary of treading that path again!

The song, of the same name, was a minor hit for the Ian Hunter band circa 1975.
Still a cracking tune 40 years later! <yikes>

Both of those are following on from the Daily Fail story. I'm still inclined to believe Radio Humberside:

NORWICH BACK IN FOR BRADY

Norwich boss Alex Neil is still hoping to prise Robbie Brady away from Hull, according to the Daily Mail.

It is reported Neil is preparing a £6m bid in the hope of landing his man.

Norwich have already had a number of bids in the region of £3m rejected by Hull.

I still say that £6m goes back to the original Daily Fail story yesterday. This is the copy and paste generation of journalism. We can ask why we haven't made another bid, but I'm still convinced that we haven't. I wouldn't mind being wrong on this one, by the way.

Bruce has just confirmed that, contrary to media reports, no fifth bid has been received for Brady, though he did hint at the rejected fourth bid not being a million miles away.

He's not in the squad for our first pre-season this evening, so it looks likely that he's on his way out, I'm expecting a £6-7m deal to be announced in the next few days.

Compare £7 mill, if that is to be believed, with a supposed £5 mill opening bid from W.Brom for Nottm F winger Antonio, and it doesn´t seem at all bad in today´s climate. Just hope we can get him over the line now.

Ripped his shirt off, swung it around his head, four, yes four somersaults, kissed a baby, shed a tear and jogged back to the restart.

...and then provided the assist with a cut-back for Toffolo's goal. The first was Hooper from the spot after Thompson was brought down. Both Thompson and Toffolo looked sharp and E.Bennett played 60 minutes at RB.
