I know Hull played a 5 man defence a lot, using wing backs. The difference between a ML, DML and WL player is probably a reflection of the opposition, with him playing deeper against stronger teams. I probably should have phrased my earlier comment as "paying £15m for someone turning out at LB".
That was my impression from Whoscored, DH, where they list Hull's dominant formation as a 3-5-2. I had thought Brady was a LW who could also play at LB, but it seems as if he is more like BJ. Is that the case, or is he a LW dropping back into DML or CM? His number 11 implies the latter, but numbers can be deceptive.
every time he played for them - at whatever level, and totally
when he was sent out on loan, to Palace I think?
