Bastoni subbed off for Inter at Udinese after half an hour with the score at 1-1:

The hosts went on to win 3-1, scoring two late goals to go top of Serie A.

Chelsea manager Graham Potter wants to make a move for Tottenham and England star Harry Kane, 29, and is ready to offer Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku, 29, in exchange. (Calciomercato - in Italian)

@Roo

See what I mean?

This is him wishing himself all the best

These rumours will continue to circulate until Kane signs a new deal, in my opinion this is lazy journalism. Lukaku had a good spell with Conte and Chelsea need a decent striker. Doubt given the history that any deal would be done.

Yeah almost 100% certain that won’t happen. Doubt Kane would even move to Chelsea as he knows that’d sever ties he had at Spurs.

The Bayern links would be more of a concern. Whilst I think he wants Shearer’s record, he also wants trophies and Bayern will easily give him that and would boost their chances of CL success too. He’d hit similar numbers to Lewandowski over there, easy 35-40+ goals a season.

I can't see Kane going to Chelsea irrespective of how much they offer us or him. I'd like to think he has enough dignity not to ever consider such a move. Truth be told the boat has probably sailed for him domestically. City was the likeliest option but they no longer need him. Theoretically same story at Liverpool unless Darwin continues to demonstrate the principles of natural selection (I'll see myself out, thanks). I could see him going to United but unless Ten Hag accomplishes a miracle this season they are no likelier to win major trophies than we are currently.

Options abroad? I'd say Real as a replacement for Benzema. As a project that would probably be very appealing to him and we obviously have precedent for players moving there and flourishing. I'm sure it's a conversation he would have had with Bale a year ago. With everyone fully expecting Mbappe to go there this summer, they were left up a gum tree and I wouldn't be surprised if they moved for him next summer.

Bayern is also an option but can they afford him? And is the Bundesliga too much of a step down from the PL?

If it all goes pear shaped here this season, I'd put my tenner on a move to Real next season.

The only possible kernel in that story is Todd Boehly does appear to not understand how things work, as recently demonstrated by his efforts to have Luis Campos join as DoF less than three months after Campos signed on with PSG

Bayern are currently out of the CL places in the Bundesliga.
They trail Union Berlin, Dortmund (of course), Freiburg and Hoffenheim, a village of about 3,000 people.

Leverkusen, Monster Energy Dusseldorf, A German Team, Wolfsburg, Stuttgart and Eintracht somehow all conspiring to be even lower stands out just a tad...
Having watched a fair few Bundesliga games this season, I have come to one conclusion: Nobody can defend.
Seriously, they're all a ****ing shambles at the back, for some reason.
Some of the finishing is a bit spotty too or they'd be scoring ludicrous numbers of goals.

Don't get me wrong, it makes for great entertainment and exciting matches.
Dortmund losing 3-2 to Bremen at home after being 2-0 up with a minute left, for example.
I think Conte would kill his entire squad if he was over there, though.
Mourinho would chuck the whole ****ing club under a bus and they'd probably deserve it, too.

Pele Arganese-McDermott sounds like a regen name on football manager <laugh>
He used to just be plain old Pele McDermott, which is much better and still completely ludicrous.
I'm guessing that some shirt letter manufacturer paid him to add the Arganese! <laugh>
It sounds like a made-up element from a dodgy sci-fi film.

The amount of inter-planetary race hated here directed
at the Arganese is frankly quite disgusting (will have to
see about consequently getting some people banned
permanently from this site ... ) .

Anyone else get the feeling that Oblak's agent is trying to negotiate a new contract...?

It's probably not that, as he signed a new one in June that runs to 2028.
Utd have been linked with him and he's been struggling for a while, relatively speaking of course.
