Very pleased with this, just as with Roberts. Both loans. Both no brainers. Good business
A good managerial appointment and some good player signings - very happy with this.
Well done Sir Les.
Just out of interest, and probably ignorance, why do you give credit to this to Ferdinand and not to Beale too?
Well Beale didn't appoint himself. On the signings though, of course Beale would be heavily involved but the DoF has to make them happen.
Also, Ferdinand always seems to get blamed for poor signings.
Looks like the right kind of signing. Let's hope it works out. I'm optimistic, but I'm so optimistic I still think George Thomas can work out given a run in the side.

Don't be silly Tramore team looks like crap with one prospect 'to stay up'.Beginning to get a tad excited and it's only the middle of July.....
Fair enough. It looks like Ferdinand did well with Beale. Hopefully they'll form a creative partnership.
I think that remains to be seen. Whilst I am pleased that he is bringing in young, hungry players let us not forget we have yet to see him manage a competitive game. Can he get his tactics right, substitutions right, change tactics in the midst of a game if needs be. There have been many examples of people who were great assistants but not top dog.
I would certainly question his credentials. You have to remind yourself who he was assistant to and that they continued to be just as successful without his 'assistance'.Agree, a good example is Paul Clement he had far more success as an assistant.
Kelman loaned out to Orient for season. Must be a striker incoming...
