Struggling to find any reason at all, valid or niggling, not to like who the club have signed this Summer. Hopefully Mr B and his backers in the board room won't panic if it doesn't go to plan as quickly as he, they and we would all hope. It's a given that some of the fans will.
A good managerial appointment and some good player signings - very happy with this. Well done Sir Les.
Just out of interest, and probably ignorance, why do you give credit to this to Ferdinand and not to Beale too?
Well Beale didn't appoint himself. On the signings though, of course Beale would be heavily involved but the DoF has to make them happen. Also, Ferdinand always seems to get blamed for poor signings.
Fitness issues the only worries now, praying that Roberts and Richards don't turn out to be sick notes like a few of the recent loans have. Worried about how often Amos is injured , it appears that he's going to be one of those unfortunate players who picks up injuries for fun. Shame
Fair enough. It looks like Ferdinand did well with Beale. Hopefully they'll form a creative partnership.
Looks like the right kind of signing. Let's hope it works out. I'm optimistic, but I'm so optimistic I still think George Thomas can work out given a run in the side.
Hate to tell you, but once Luke is all fit and raring to go, with the added support of his newly founded fan club, Thomas ain't getting a look in....
Don't be silly Tramore team looks like crap with one prospect 'to stay up'. This is my self protection tactic anything better will be a joy and a bonus!!
I think that remains to be seen. Whilst I am pleased that he is bringing in young, hungry players let us not forget we have yet to see him manage a competitive game. Can he get his tactics right, substitutions right, change tactics in the midst of a game if needs be. There have been many examples of people who were great assistants but not top dog.
I would certainly question his credentials. You have to remind yourself who he was assistant to and that they continued to be just as successful without his 'assistance'.
