The club is also close to completing the signing of Belgian centre-back Christian Kabasele from Genk, according to Sky sources.

****ing ridiculous, they could have sold their two forwards for over 60m.. Those two forwards being ighalo and Deeney. Crazy money being thrown around. Can't believe they rejected both of those, I'd have def accepted them and re invested in squad with 3/4 players for 10m

I'd accept £25m for Benteke tbh, just to get him gone. £32m for Bentekkers and they can have Balotelli as well

40mil for benteke but badontelly is a year left (worst luck its not out of contract frankly) so we won't make much but if some mad ****er pays 10mil for him it'd be a miracle... even the chinese can't be that mad.

You think we can get 40m for benteke then you've lost the plot even more than thoight.
Clubs know now he's not needed, he had a poor year in front of goal and we signed him for 32m. Why would his value go up 8m?
If we paid 34 for mane then theres a fee to be extraced out of west ham who bid the same for lacazette who laughed at them and the other fellea gone to chelsea... and palace and maybe juve (but i doubt it) and a numbe rof mad chinese guys.
The idea in yor head seems to be form based. mine is demand based. He's going to be in demand...

made an offer for him? No one... West Ham had been linked but they've been linked to about 6 forwards, and palace seem to be only other link. Demand isn't exactly high.
Stranger things have happened. Logically that all makes sense but the new PL money has changed things.
Just look at ****ing borini, he's was **** for you first year, went to sunderland on loan where his purple patch wasnt even that impressive and half of the goals he scored were pens, he goes back to you guys and sits on the bench for another year and you manage to sell him for roughly what you bought him at if not more.
borini was ridicuous. we stood to make 14mil off sunderland had he gone the first year. thats 3mil profit on 11mil on a disaster.
Benteke gets a terrible time of some reds fans who grossly under rate what he's done in the prem. There's going to be 2/3 buyers.
Badontelly o nthe other hand..... going to cost us 4.5mil in wages this year and no way to get shut by the look of it.
