You could say that but I think his size, presence and his ability to hold the ball up will allow utds pacey players to do a lot of damage. They will be transformed come September.
I really don't expect him to do anywhere near like his last few years, I am looking at him as a boost for the other/younger players in the team, somebody to give them some belief and arrogance/swagger.

I saw all three games in euros and while sweden aint no utd his lack of pace was there to see. He got to walk of the pitch to a heros applause tonking some no name side and left psg with ten men in his last game... his goals last season have to be taken with a serious pinch if salt.
utd will have to find a way to play to him.... and will mourinho? I dunno...

38 league goals in 31 games? his record historically doesn't add up to that.. its good when he was younger no question. he'd got 20+ in league twice in his career before going to PSG....
of those 5, malmo... and two in two games v chelsea. so yeah he scored 2 v a prem team...
sorry but at 35 and being slow he just reminds me of morientes and a few others who rock up and get a shock at the kicking refs allow in england.
He's been playing games where you can't be touched and he's in the equivalent of the harlem globetrotters in french terms... this si the elague where beckham cuold rock up with no legs and play a few and get hero worshipped and a medal!
If he gets 20 league goals the english prem is as **** as i think it really is.
