I can't see us signing moura. I think it was him or mane. They are far too similar and we'd be spending 30m on him still needing a CM and LB and potentially a CB, unless klopp like Grujic and doesn't want to sell Allen.
Tend to agree, Does Grujic play AM as well? And we'll have Marcovic back, unless hes's sold. Plus Lallana, and Ings, Studge and Origi can play out wide if need be (Benteke less so). I would think that LB, CM and CB would be bigger priorites. If so, that's still essentially a whole new spine though.
I don't as a midfielder, he has no energy or enthusiasm and very limited skill, there is a reason Germany play him as a right back when he gets a chance with them, win the ball and pass it to somebody that can use it.
Don't know much about Grujic at all, so can't really say. But yeh other positions are much higher priorities.
Think it will be an attacking mid trio of Coutinho, Firmino and Mane. Mane brings much needed pace, and Firmino is a Klopp favourite in terms of creativity and goals, and work rate. Coutinho is Coutinho. I predict Lallana would be the first one dropped due to his lack of ability on the ball. Wouldn't be surprised if we do sign Moura - we need more pacey, direct attacking players (if Markovic and Ibe were to go).
Respected journalist and The Times reporter Tony Barrett has confirmed our strong interest in Ben Chilwell and Piotr Zielinski, tipping the young pair to be our our next two signings following the conclusion of the Sadio Mane deal. Barrett goes on to suggest that we’re still looking at Borussia Monchengladbach’s Mahmoud Dahoud, although with Granit Xhaka already joining Arsenal this summer he believes they will be reluctant to sell another of their key midfielders.
That's a shame because it would imply that Chillwell is back up and Klopp will persist with Moreno - don't have a problem with that but was looking forward to Hector, who I think is a really good player. Dahoud would be an immense signing.
Should have gone all out for Dahoud really because your midfield is non-existent, Markovic could have been given the chance out wide until Jan and re-assess from there.
Liverpool have told Crystal Palace they will have to pay £30m for Belgian striker Christian Benteke, 25. (Telegraph According to bookmakers BetStars, Liverpool are 8/11 favourites to sign departing Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic, with Stoke (3/1) and Sunderland (5/2) outsiders for his signature. The Serbian centre-half, who was signed at Dortmund by Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, announced his intentions to leave the Bundesliga club over the weekend after limited game time l “Dortmund’s Neven Subotic has already publicly confirmed his intention to leave the club and has been heavily linked with former boss Jurgen Klopp,” said Ian Marmion, Trading Director at BetStars.
I disagree with @Diego on Can, earlier in the season I thought he looked very good in midfield when we play with a DM, he seems to relax and his all round play going forward is a lot better when he has that cover in behind him.
That's more down to the competition ahead of him, he has a big season ahead of him can't play the young with potential card forever.
