So, if we are to make just 1 more signing after Benteke what do you think it will be; winger/AM or CM/DM?
With Origi in there too
Has to be DM, it's the only position that we don't have a decent first choice in now, however I do think a Henderson/Can partnership could counter the need for one, I feel as if that would work wonders.

like the article says Benteke is another Andy Carroll. if Carroll wasn't the right fit for Rodgers why is Big Ben?

TBH I specifically remember Rodgers saying Carroll can play his style but the club said he was to expensive to be on the bench.
I suspect the club could also see Carroll's injury issues. He's missed most of his Hammers career.
it is a shame for Carroll about his injury record cos on his day he is unplayable but I always thought that Rodgers said he didn't fit his playing style.

Well, Carroll and Suarez never worked.
Rodgers plan was to reverse wingers either side of Suarez. Carroll does not fit that. But Suarez is pretty unique and that attack was built around him.

Yes that's it. .. I think personally that fsg looked at it and got rid of the doctors that did medical, the dof who brought him, and Kenny too.
For me the guy couldn't run and most of all he missed too many chances. For a big man he didn't get many headers on target honestly.
He's a poor player but very powerful.
The difference with benteke is he gets it on target and can score.
