To be honest my opinion is that Benteke will only do well at Liverpool if Rodgers leaves. At Villa, a team that was at its best on the counter attack, the ball was constantly hoofed towards him exploting his ability to hold the ball up and bring the quick wide players into play. I can't see us playing in a way that brings the best out of Benteke under Rodgers, not least because if we did it would most likely make Coutinho look as useless as he did when Lambert was the lone striker

For me there should be enough here to not accept weak performance in any game. As I said if Lucas and can compete for DM can has the legs.
