I don't really understand the negativity towards this signing,we have ourselves a 1 in 2 prem. striker who will give any defence in the league problems. If he brings us 15 or 20 goals a season for the next few years,£32m will seem decent enough
Here is a question. Are Lyon actually any better than Aston Villa? I know the Ligue 1 is far inferior to the Premier League. So is Benteke actually any less proven than Lacazette? Both have impressive goal stats at average clubs.
Benteke is a proven prem. striker............Lacazette isn't. No doubt there is a step up from Ligue 1 to the PL. That's the thing with buying in from abroad......can they do it in the prem? We know Benteke can.............and that is significant
